| Skeleton; Boring. |
[Thursday July 9, 4pm] |
I found a newspaper behind my bed. Naturally, I took the time to read it. There was a story contained in the pages about an archaeological find at Stirling Castle in Scotland. These archaeologist have found some bones. Researchers later speculated that these bones belonged to a knight because the way the legs formed have proved to be consistent with spending a lot of time on horseback.
This got me thinking.
When Archaeologists find my bones (burried in my wine cellar, as specified), what will they be led to speculate? Firstly, I've always suspected that my bones will one day be revealed to be an odd color, stained by the sheer quantities of Shiraz that I have consumed over the past two decades. Secondly, I suspect they will be able to tell that I sign a lot of forms and have a very uncomfortable office chair. All this evidence will lead them to believe that I was an alcoholic with a very boring job.
I have a boring skeleton.
